Create a project
Sign up, start a project from a template or from scratch, and choose how to connect your site.
A project is one site's content: its collections, singles, records, files and forms, its members, and the keys the site reads with.
1. Sign up
Go to app.mapled.io and create an account with your email, Google or Apple.
2. Start a project
Press New project and pick a starting point:
| Template | What it creates |
|---|---|
| Blank | An empty project. You or your agent add the structure. |
| Landing | Pages built from sections: hero, text, gallery, FAQ. |
| Blog | Posts, authors and categories with sample content. |
| Docs | Pages in a tree with navigation order. |
| E-commerce | Products, categories and orders with prices and stock. |
Connecting an existing site with an AI agent? Start with Blank: the agent builds the content model from the site's code.
3. Name it
- Project name — what you and your editors see.
- Slug — used in API URLs. You can't change it after publishing.
- Production domain — optional: the address of the live site.
- Data region — United States or European Union: where the project's content and files are stored. It can't be changed later. Choose the European Union when your privacy policy or a client's contract promises storage in the EU; it needs a paid plan.
Every active project takes one slot of your plan: one on Free, five on Pro, fifteen on Max.
4. Choose how to connect the site
- Connect with AI — Get the prompt opens the project with the prompt ready to copy. Continue with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
- Set up manually — create the collections and fields yourself, then wire the site with the SDK: Integrate by hand.
You can switch later: Connect with AI stays on the project's Overview and in Integrations.
